In 2004 John Cuijpers and Hans in ’t Zandt both from the Netherlands join with only one goal in mind: to create a rock band without its equal. One that is able to paint a landscape of emotions with the hues of music. After only a couple of months of intense composing, arranging and rehearsing a five-track demo was recorded at Artsound Studio in Belgium which was received with great enthusiasm by the press: Aardschok-Metal Hammer, Mindview, Strutter Magazine, Headache Magazine.
At the same time German guitarist Christian Tolle was looking for a singer to record his 2nd solo CD “Christian Tolle Project – The Real Thing”. Accidently he found John Cuijpers, who took this job as well. Suddenly John was performing his awesome vocals next to such legends as Steve Lukather (TOTO), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake) and Chuck Wright (Alice Cooper, Quite Riot, House Of Lords). Christian Tolle’s CD got excellent reviews and more importantly, the chemistry between the two was highly productive and inspiring. By that time Cooper Inc. was looking for a new guitar player and the only conclusion was Cooper Inc. and Christian to join forces.
Cooper Inc. supported TOTO three summers in succession all over Germany as well as lots of shows on their own in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany and built a following.
Through the individual members´ work in the music business eventually Cooper Inc. teamed up with top producer Michael Voss (Voices Of Rock, Mad Max, Casanova, Silver, Michael Schenker to name a few) and bass player Matthias Rethmann.
Michael Voss guided the band and took their new songs to a higher level. He produced 12 new tracks between summer 2008 and spring 2009 which resulted in the new CD “Pulling The Trigger”. Performed with an incredible amount of energy the album contains a powerful mixture of Heavy Rock tracks such as „Rock My World“ and „Who Gives You The Right“, Stadium like hook lines in „All Of You“ and „Never Let You Go“ as well as pumping grooves in the title track „Pulling The Trigger“, “Who is the One” and “On the Cover”. Modern influences are incorporated with beatle-esque elements in „Weep“. In short: no fillers, just good songs. Track by track! Always with punch, hook lines, melody and energy.
However, do not take our word for it but let yourself be swept away by the musical world of Cooper Inc.
